Role Summary
The Quality Manager will lead plant quality operations,
ensure product conformity, and drive corrective actions for recurring issues.
The role also includes designing and implementing new processes to improve
production quality, reduce rejection, and enhance overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design
and introduce new processes to resolve production and quality issues.
- Lead
the quality team and oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection
activities.
- Establish
and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation
systems.
- Identify
root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate
with production, maintenance, and tooling teams to improve output and
consistency.
- Handle
customer complaints, quality reports, and continuous improvement
initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma
or Graduate in Mechanical, Plastic, or related engineering discipline.
- 9–15
years of experience in quality management, preferably in plastic injection
moulding or similar manufacturing.
- Strong
knowledge of injection moulding defects, quality inspection methods, and
process controls.
- Experience
in root cause analysis, corrective action, process design and process
improvement.
